My name is Pat Rooney (on the left in picture) and I am an environmental studies major and an undeclared geography minor. Some examples of activities I like include fishing, skateboarding, hiking, and going to the beach. I chose this field of study because I love being outdoors and learning all kinds of things about how the environment works. One reason why I am interested in sustainability is because climate change is a large problem facing the world today in which everyone should be concerned about. I believe that in order to have a sustainable future we need to find ways to tackle this issue. I think that its very important that future generations will get to have a good future with a similar lifestyle as ours.
